I'm Maral (rhymes with Carl). A Technical Chiropractic Assistant at Balance Chiropractic Center.
I was a patient at Balance Chiropractic Center prior to my employment here. As the newest Technical
Chiropractic Assistant, I am grateful to learn the essentials from our knowledgeable and supportive team.
My path towards chiropractic care started in high school, as a freshman in high school, going through puberty. My body was not able to sustain the changes
and weight gain on my frame. I experienced severe back pain and missed several days of school and physical activities. After several sessions of physical
therapy and very little results, I turned to Dr. Hutan. At that time, he practiced in my neighborhood. I found relief but failed to commit to self-care
since I was young and carefree. After Dr. Hutan moved to the Milwaukee area, I periodically saw other chiropractors, but I wasn’t dedicated to my health in that regard.
I hail from Oshkosh, Wisconsin and have a Bachelor's in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an Associate's Degree
in Marketing. I went to grad school in Milwaukee for a couple of semesters while working in human services, but quickly realized that wasn't the route
for me. I dropped out of school and camped out in India for a few months while obtaining a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Certification.
I now instruct yoga classes throughout the greater Milwaukee area.
"My fascination with the biomechanics of the human body, holistic health, and my love to connect with people is beautifully balanced here."
Nobody taught me that spinal health is equivalent to oral hygiene. Taking care of my spine is JUST AS important as brushing and flossing my teeth. Dental
health directly relates to heart health; in the same respect, spinal health relates to the health of the entire nervous system. This relates to the yogic
teachings and our attempt to relax the nervous system. It's all relative!
